I painted a sea where seaweed sways and tiny plankton live. Painting the ocean in my favorite colors, like blue and purple, never gets old — no matter how many times I do it, I get completely absorbed. There's something mysterious to me about plankton and other tiny lives living as fully as they can in the sea.
