Over immense spans of time, all kinds of things settle and pile up to become the land — this piece is about that grandeur. Deep in the earth, what was once life hundreds of millions of years ago lies layer upon layer, forming the foundation for the living things of today, and I find something miraculous in that. I shifted the colors throughout so you can feel the long passage of the ages.
