Privacy Policy

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If there is any difference in meaning, the Japanese version prevails.

千葉洋乃夫 (trade name: Mai_M Art Project) (“we” or “us”) handles the personal information entrusted to us through Mai_M Art Project Catalog (“this site”) as follows.

1. Information we collect

• Information you enter in the order form and chat: your name, email address, the work, size, finish, budget and delivery date you'd like, your message, and any images or files you send
• Information we ask for after your order is placed: your delivery address, and your phone number (if needed for delivery)
• Payment information: credit card details are handled by our payment processor (Square) and never reach us. For JPYC payments, the sending wallet address and the transaction hash
• The date, time and IP address when your chat page is opened (a record that helps us notice if a private URL has leaked)
• Page view counts: we count page views and the names of referring sites ourselves, as daily totals. We use no external analytics services or cookies, and we don't store visitors' IP addresses or anything that identifies an individual

2. How we use it

• Quotes, confirming order details, production, shipping, invoicing and confirming payment
• Answering your questions and contacting you about your order (including by email)
• Keeping transaction records (including keeping accounting records for the period required by law)
• Preventing misuse and keeping information secure

3. Sharing with third parties and service providers

Except as required by law, we do not share your information with third parties without your consent. To run our business, we may entrust or provide information to the following providers:

• Credit card payments: Square (your email address and the invoice details are used to send the invoice)
• Chat and data storage: servers of Render, Inc. (USA)
• Sending email: Google (Gmail)
• Delivery: shipping carriers (delivery address, name and phone number)

4. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for the retention period for accounting records (about 7 years). Records of inquiries that did not lead to an order are kept in case you want to pick up the conversation again, but we'll delete them if you ask.

5. Security

Your chat page is protected by a private URL known only to you and us. Please keep the URL where others can't find it. On a shared device, we recommend using a private (incognito) window.

6. Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

You can ask us to disclose, correct, stop using or delete your information through the order form or by email (mai.m.mai.m.20230728@gmail.com). After confirming your identity, we'll respond without delay (except for records we are required by law to keep).

7. Complaints

Complaints and questions about how we handle personal information are also welcome through the contacts above.

8. Changes

We may revise this policy as needed. Revisions take effect when posted on this site.
