I'd fallen into a phase of wanting to paint only in purple, and whenever I tried to finish a piece in some other palette, it usually ended up green. I painted this because I wanted to escape that reality. Freely painting whatever you want sounds simple, but I'm realizing it's actually hard. Hidden in this green is the wish that I could have painted it purple.
