I took my doll along to see the cherry blossoms at a park nearby, and the trees in full bloom were so beautiful that I was deeply moved. The blossoms looked as if they were thrusting their fists up at the blue sky to psych themselves up, and watching them gave me courage too. I painted this to hold on to that feeling.
