I just wanted to use green, so I lost myself painting with lots of different greens. The further I went, the cooler it looked, and I couldn't stop. There are many words for green, but I thought "sui," a Japanese word for a deep jade green, was the coolest of them, so I chose it as the title.

Translated from the artist's original Japanese caption (view in Japanese).
