I named it "Ordinary" because I felt how shallow I was: the only associations I could come up with were the obvious ones — black for night or shadow, green for plants. I finished it while frustrated by how hard it is to express things in my own words, and by how narrow my range of expression is. I want to sharpen my sensibility and build my vocabulary so I can express things with more breadth and depth.
