For me, purple used to be the color of "the future" and "the unknown," but lately it seems to suggest "the past." I painted the moment when the world you've been seeing begins to change, soft and hazy as if veiled in mist. It's a vague sense that somewhere in my memories, there's a precious shade of purple.
